Who we are
GymLog is made by 12824574 Canada Inc. (LunaLink AI), a company incorporated in Canada, which is the party responsible for the handling of data described below. Questions about your data: support@gymlog.fun.
What stays on your device
Your profile, goals, workout history, bodyweight log and nutrition log are stored only in the app's local storage on your phone. None of it is uploaded, backed up, or visible to us. Your coach conversations are stored there too, and you can erase all of it from Profile → Reset app.
What the coach sends
The coach is a model running on OpenAI's servers, so a conversation has to reach it. When you speak, your audio goes to OpenAI while you are talking; when you type, your message goes instead. Either way we send a short slice of recent conversation for continuity, plus a summary of your plan and targets so the answer is about you — your training numbers, not your identity. We do not send your name, email, or full history.
Accounts
There are none. GymLog works completely without sign-in — nothing to create, nothing uploaded.
Subscriptions and the paywall
Purchases are processed by Apple and our subscription-management provider, RevenueCat, so the app can recognize your subscription status. We don't receive or store payment details — Apple handles billing directly. Neither company receives your workout history, your nutrition log, or anything you say to your coach.
Apple Health
With your permission, GymLog reads recent sleep, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, and activity so your coaching can factor in recovery. Read-only, used only on your device, never uploaded, never used for advertising. Turn it off anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → GymLog.
Other network requests
Exercise demo photos load from a public code-hosting site (raw.githubusercontent.com) — a normal image request carrying no personal data. Custom exercises may fetch a stock photo through our server (Pexels) — the request carries only the exercise name. On launch the app checks Expo's update service (u.expo.dev) for bug-fix updates; that request carries app-version and device-platform information, never anything you've logged. If you message us from the Support screen, what you type is delivered to our inbox by our form provider — only when you press Send.
What we don't do
No ads. No selling or renting your data. No advertising, attribution or cross-app tracking SDKs — nothing you log is used to target you. Apart from Apple, RevenueCat and OpenAI as described above, no third party receives anything about you.
This website
gymlog.fun uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages and links people use, in aggregate. Google sets a cookie for that; it tells us nothing about who you are, and nothing you do in the app ever reaches it. Google's handling of that data is described in Google's privacy policy.
Children
GymLog isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update this page — it's the same page whether you're reading it in the app or at gymlog.fun/privacy.
